Synopsis

In a young actress sitting in a hospital office, we recognize a youthful Persephone . She is facing surgery that may become the final act of her personal play. By signing the consent form, the doctor, Hades, stamps the paper with a seal shaped like an obol — the coin given to souls in Greek mythology for their passage to the underworld. This gesture symbolizes the fatality of her decision.
